Overview
Strengthen your understanding of business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing (DW). These courses are designed to take you from basic BI/DW concepts and principles to expanded essentials of gathering business requirements to dimensional data modeling and metrics. Dimensional data is a core component of modern BI/DW implementations. Dimensionally organized data offers a more effective and adaptable solution to business analytics needs than can be achieved with relational data structures. Virtually anyone involved in business intelligence and data warehousing projects needs to have fundamental knowledge of the pathway from business questions to business analytics. New and returning students will find that these courses provide the building blocks that are key to understanding the rest of this dynamic field of Business Intelligence.

Dr Deanne Larson, CBIP

Dr. Larson, CBIP, is an active practitioner and academic focusing on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Larson completed her Doctorate of Management in Information Technology Leadership. She holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Business Intelligence Profession (CBIP) certifications. Dr. Larson attended AT&T Executive Training at the Harvard Business School in 2001, focusing on IT leadership. She is a regular contributor to The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) publications and presents several times at year at conferences. Dr. Larson is associate faculty at American Public University and University of Phoenix in the United States.
